Two suspects caught, one sought

On Wednesday, officers from the Colorado Springs Police Department were dispatched to a robbery at the Air Academy Federal Credit Union, at 5937 Constitution Ave. Police believe two females entered the bank with firearms and left with an undisclosed amount of cash. They were last seen leaving on foot.

Due to a coordinated response by CSPD officers and dispatchers, as well as deputies from the El Paso County Sheriff's Office, suspects in the case were identified. Officers and investigators from the Robbery Unit with help from the Sheriff's Office were able to arrest two suspects at 7114 Grand Prairie Dr.  Evidence related to the crime was recovered at the scene, according to police.

Abbey Meyers, age 31, and Melinda Scott, age 27, were both arrested and charged with Aggravated Robbery.

The CSPD is attempting to locate a third suspect in connection to this case. He is Michael Patterson, age 34.
