Stop and go, and sometimes just plain stopped. That was the condition of Interstate 25 between Colorado Springs and Denver most of the day. At one point more than 30 miles of southbound I-25 north of Castle Rock was closed. Even when it opened, it was a slow go.

A News First crew north of Colorado Springs late Friday afternoon saw two accidents a few miles north of Colorado Springs.

Traffic is moving still, but not very fast.

The weather will remain a problem tonight. Many activies were canceled or postponed, including the Prom at Lewis-Palmer High School in Monument. No word on when or if it will be rescheduled. The Junior Prom at Disvoery Canyon Campus in District 20 was postponed.
