Update: Circle now open after deadly auto pedestrian accident

Southbound Circle is now open between Airport and Fountain in Colorado Springs after a deadly auto-pedestrian accident.
Colorado Springs police say at around 6:40 a.m. Monday morning, a car traveling southbound on Circle struck and killed a man crossing the road. A witness to the accident attempted CPR on the man but was unsuccessful.
The driver and a child passenger in the car was taken to the hospital for evaluations, but were not believed to be seriously injured.
Southbound Circle was closed until about 11:30 a.m. The name of the victim has not been released.
