Riverwalk to be drained

The Historic Arkansas Riverwalk in Pueblo will be drained soon as part of an annual cleaning project. Starting Monday, March 12, the water will be drained so maintenance crews can scoop out debris and vegetation.
For several days the channel will be empty. It will be refilled by April 5.
The pedestrian walks will still be open during the cleaning.
