DENVER (AP) - Gov. Bill Ritter has signed 30 pieces of legislation, including a bill that reduces the penalty for late registrations of trailers.
House Bill 1211, sponsored by Rep. Max Tyler, reduces the late fee to a flat $10 for small non-motorized vehicles up to 2,000 pounds.
Other bills signed Thursday include more accountability on workers' compensation, approval of a "zipper" lane to speed traffic on Interstate 70 in the mountains, and suspending the senior property tax exemption for another two years.
