Retailer's arrival means cash for school

Discount retail chain Big Lots will open its newest store in Colorado Springs with a ribbon cutting Friday morning, September, 21. Company executives will also present a $2,500 to Horizon Middle School.

The new store will be the company's third location in the Colorado Springs and will be located in the former Linens and Things building in the First and Main Town Center.

The nation's largest broadline closeout retailer, Big Lots operates 1,451 stores in the US and 82 LIQUIDATION WORLD and LW stores in Canada.
