Researchers link obesity and depression

Dutch researchers report that obese people are more likely to become depressed, and depressed people are more likely to become obese.

Obesity hikes the risk of depression by 55-percent, while depression increases the risk of obesity by 58-percent.

The findings are reported in the Archives of General Psychiatry.
