The Colorado Department of Corrections is seeking to hire a Research & Evaluation Special who will work in the Colorado Springs headquarters.
This employee will conduct research and evaluation studies in order to determine program needs, processes, and outcomes by reviewing refereed literature and data from other correctional systems, developing study designs, gathering data elements, administering surveys, analyzing data, interpreting findings, writing reports, and disseminating findings within the Office of Planning and Analysis.
Also responsible for coordinating research activities among project staff, including training and overseeing university interns, as necessary to complete studies. Directly influences management decisions on the direction that programs and policies should take.
