Officers from the Colorado Springs Police Department responded to reports of possible shots fired in the 1300 block of N. Academy at around 3:20 am Saturday morning. The initial report described three or four shots being fired. When witnesses looked out of their windows, they reported two males running north through an alleyway. As officers investigated the scene they found bullet holes in a rear doorway at the address the reports initially came from.

Police report that the actual address where the shots were fired is 1347 N. Academy Blvd which is a business operating as a Medical Marijuana Dispensary. A search of the area failed to turn up any suspects and so, no arrests have been made. Police continue to investigate utilizing ballistics, witness descriptions and other gathered evidence from the scene.
