Renaissance Festival gets boost from elephant

The Renaissance Festival in Larkspur used an elephant to draw attention to the annual summer event Tuesday.

An elephant named Page showed up at Acacia Park in downtown Colorado Springs, along with performers promoting the Renaissance Festival.  That included musicians, comics and magicians.

The Renaissance Festival runs every weekend from mid-June to August 1 from 10 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.

Larkspur is located just off I-25 south of Castle Rock.
