Patrick Henninge has fond memories of his friend Jason Holley. The two met at school and, with a common love of fixing cars, became close friends.
"He could look at a rust bucket and see potential," said Henninge.
However, Holley, who was disabled by a genetic disorder known as Klinefelter's syndrome, disappeared in January. For months nobody knew what happened to him.
"We didn't know what was going through his mind...why he left the house," said Henninge's wife Karen.
But this month police found Holley. The 22-year-old's body was found along a remote trail in Cheyenne Canyon. Police say he was killed for an X-Box video game.
Kyle Stott and Derek Hernandez now face murder charges in connection with his death.
"It still hurts today. I still think about it a lot," said Henninge. "I know it's a question that I'll never get answered but why?"
Friends, family, and the community have planned a candlelight vigil for Jason Holley at Acacia Park Saturday night starting at 8:00pm. All are welcome to attend.
