Red light cameras operating in Colorado Springs

The Focus on Safety Photo Enforcement system has been installed, tested and calibrated. Next step--warning notices in the mail for drivers who run red lights.
After a one-month period when warning notices are sent, the program will begin imposing $75 fines each time a driver runs a red light.
The City of Colorado Springs has installed the enforcement equipment at the following intersections:
- Northbound Nevada Avenue @ Bijou Street
- Eastbound Barnes Road @ Oro Blanco Drive
- Westbound Platte Avenue @ Circle Drive
- Westbound Platte and Murray
