You can go green this Halloween by recycling your old electronics for a small fee. There's a one day recycling event in Pueblo on Saturday, October 31. It runs from 10 a.m. To 2 p.m. at W. 16 St.
The event is being held by Southern Colorado Recyclers and Metech Recycling. The groups say they can recycle DVD players/VCRs/stereo equipment, fax machines, computers, printers, cell phones, laptops, microwaves and small appliances. (Virtually anything with a plug except refrigerators, air conditioners, and large appliances.)
Here are a list of fees:
Most electronics: FREE
Computer Monitors: $5
TV's (up to 25"): $10
Big TV's (26" and larger): $20
Paint (price per gallon): .50-cents
