Near record heat is possible on this Father's Day. The record for June 17 in Colorado Springs is 92 which was set back in 1960. The record high in Pueblo for today is 101, set back in 2002. The next three days will contain some of the hottest weather so far this year. Storm chances over the next several days are non existent. The hot dry weather will combine with an afternoon breeze to once again raise the fire danger in the mountains. A red flag warning is in effect for the mountains from 11am to 9pm Sunday.
Sunday forecast:
Colorado Springs: Sunny and hot, high 92
Pueblo: Sunny and very hot, high 100
Monument: Sunny, high 88
