Several are honored at the Southeastern Colorado Law Enforcement Association Annual Awards in Pueblo.
Winners are recognized for significant work they did in 2011.
There are several categories, including Uniformed Officer of the Year.
Five awards were given in that category to Chief James Chamberlin of the Walsenburg Police Department and Troopers Mark Buneta, Gary Schaaf, Brian Kohnlein, and Clayton Mock.
They received the award for apprehending the Dougherty's last August.
The award for Non-Uniformed Law Enforcement Officer went to Detective Anthony Colletti.
Communications Officer Rachel Lenn received the award for Non-Uniformed Law Enforcement Personnel, and Citizen Awards went to Cheryl Reid, Tony Lacombe, and Kirsten Taylor of Crossroads Managed Care Systems Prevention Services and Drive Smart Colorado.
Sergeant Charlie Taylor was presented the Bob Curtis Memorial Spirit Award.
