The first person to be "hired" by Donald Trump on his NBC series The Apprentice will be in Pueblo this Friday. Bill Rancic will be the featured speaker at this year's annual fundraising dinner for The Catholic Foundation of the Diocese of Pueblo. The event is happening at 6:30p.m. at the Sangre de Cristo Arts Center. Tickets are $90 per person. That cost includes a social hour, dinner and presentation.

Here's more information about Rancic:

His star rose when he was declared the first winner when the show debuted, in a season that featured well known bad-girl Omarosa! Since then, Rancic has gone on to a multitude of othertelevision programs and makes regular appearances on many shows. He was just recently brought back by Trump to help with the most recent season of the Celebrity Apprentice.

A graduate of Loyola University in Chicago, he also has Colorado ties, as his father was a graduate of the University of Denver. A published author, he wrote Beyond The Lemonade Stand to help educate and motivate young people worldwide about the value of money and how to leverage skills, talents and abilities at an early age. All proceeds from the sale of this book have gone to charity. Beyond The Lemonade Stand is the follow up to the New York Times best-selling book, You're Hired: How To Succeed In Business And Life From The Winner Of The Apprentice, chronicles Bill's successful life, experience and proven advice.
He recently married the former Giuliana DePandi, who is the host for "E News" and is seen on the red carpet interviewing celebrities before awards shows. They now have their own realityshow in A&E called "Giuliana & Bill."
