DENVER (AP) - A South Dakota man who donated part of his liver
to his brother has died, temporarily halting live donor liver
transplants at the University of Colorado Hospital where it was
done. This would be Colorado's first death of a live liver donor
and the fourth in the country if it's ruled it was a result of the
procedure. The surviving brother is recovering from liver disease
at a Denver-area hospital.
