Rampart winger wins "Athlete of the Week" award

We hit the ice to pick this week's "Loaf ‘N Jug High School Athlete of the Week." Congratulations to Ryan Carroll the captain of the Rampart hockey team.
Ryan leads the state in scoring with 30 goals and 57 points in just 18 games. He's the all-time leading scorer in Rampart history.
Carroll told News First 5's Jordan Mason he was thrilled to be this week's "Athlete of the Week."
Carroll said, "My dad called me today and let me know. It's pretty cool. Kind of surprising they picked me, but it's an awesome feeling."
Rampart has already clinched a playoff spot and Ryan hopes a state title may be in the future.
In the classroom Ryan is also a top scorer with a 3.8 grade point average.
