Rains for the plains, mountains too

A few thunderstorms are pushing across the far southeast plains this afternoon with rain and even small hail. Monsoon moisture will continue to stream into Colorado for the next couple of days and that means more afternoon and evening rain and thunderstorms. Storms west of I-25 could bring heavy rain. Drier air returns over the weekend with pleasant temperatures.
