Rainbow of buses parade through Pueblo

A colorful parade of buses rolled through downtown Pueblo this morning. Bus service was temporarily suspended so the City of Pueblo could show off ten new buses, which were recently purchased to replace an aging fleet.

They've already been nicknamed the "Skittle" buses because of their vibrant appearance. They're painted red, blue, yellow, green, orange, purple, gold, maroon, silver and lime green.

The new buses were bought using money from a variety of sources, mostly originating at the federal government level. The cost was $3.4 million.
