A storm system to our west has been shooting pieces of energy across Colorado today and that has produced rain for the lower elevations and snow up high. Rain and isolated thunderstorms will continue this evening ending late. Saturday will be mostly sunny and windy, some areas will have gusts up to 35 mph. Best day of the weekend is sunday with sunny skies, calm winds and mild temperatures. If you're traveling west over the Continental Divide tonight or tomorrow morning plan on slushy and snow packed conditions over the high passes.
