A group of triathletes from Colorado Springs spent their morning pedaling for donations, literally! Members of the Rocky Mountain Team In Training spent the morning riding stationary bikes outside of the Bicycle Village at Academy Blvd. and Montebello Dr. to raise money for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.

The team is headed to Washington D.C. to compete in the Nation's Tri on September 11th. Each member must raise at least $2,800 for the charity to compete.

Team captain Chris Mannino says he enjoys both the physical challenge of the race and the fact that he's helping people in need.

"I like doing this for Leukemia and Lymphoma Society," Mannino said. "I think it's a great way to challenge yourself and help people at the same time and that's why I do it."

Chris and the other team members all have individual web pages to collect donations as well. Click here to visit Mannino's page and the pages of his teammates Chris Rueckert and Bridget Jordan
