There are still many unanswered questions surrounding the death of a teenager in Canon City. An autopsy was performed today on the 15-year old, but the results haven't been released yet. The teenager was found dead Monday evening on Skyline Drive, a day after he went missing.

Police say the boy may have developed with a relationship with a woman, who's a family friend. Officers don't believe she had any direct connection to his death, but could have something to do with why he ran away. "Had a direct connection between him and her, as far as some specifics events that took place that may have caused him to be depressed. But there again we don't know what was in his mind. No note left, we'll have to see what comes out of emails and what came out of text messages and phone messages," said Duane McNeil, Canon City Police Chief.

Canon City police haven't released any details about the boy's injuries or his name. Police say the teen is from Buena Vista and was visiting his father who lives in Canon City.
