Purely Ponds Tour coming this month

If you took advantage of our cool weekend by working in your backyard, you've probably come up with lots of plans to improve your backyard oasis. If those plans include a pond, a tour of area ponds will give you some inspiration.
The Fourth Annual Purely Ponds Parade of Ponds will be held June 26 - 27. The self-guided tour will include 28 stops throughout the Colorado Springs area.
Tickets and tour maps are available for $5 per ticket at all three Pioneer Sand locations in Colorado Springs, Monument, and Black Forest; at the Home Improvement Showcase in the Chapel Hills Mall; or by mail: Purely Ponds, 14940 Vollmer Rd., Colorado Springs, CO 80908. Include a self-addressed, stamped envelope with 75-cents postage.
Proceeds from ticket sales will be donated to the Boys and Girls Club.
