We had great weather to celebrate Cinco de Mayo, and the parties were hopping in Pueblo.

It commemorates a battle in 1862 in Puebla, Mexico when Mexicans defeated French forces.

Seeing as Puebla is a sister city of Pueblo, there were celebrations across the city.

One in Bessemer Park included food, music, and dancing.

"See the traditional dances brought in from Mexico," said Orlando Ramos, also known as Mr. Magic who is a corporate sponsor of some of the dance groups. "They do the Mexican-style of dance, and keep that alive here in Pueblo."

Some of the dancers even came from Chihuahua, Mexico to help celebrate.
