Pueblo victims both died from gunshot wounds

Two victims who were killed in Pueblo in separate attacks died from gunshot wounds. The Pueblo County Coroner has completed the autopsies on Desirea French, 8, and Roseanna Vigil, 42.
French died from a single gunshot wound to the head according to the coroner James Kramer. The 8-year-old was found dead inside her home at the Meadowbrook Mobile Home Park on Sunday. Her father John French Jr. was also shot in the head, but he survived. Investigators have a person of interest in the case, but haven't released many more details.
In a separate case, Roseanna Vigil was allegedly shot by her boyfriend Brian Wersma. The coroner says Vigil was shot multiple times in the head, torso and abdomen. After the shooting, Wersma drove off a cliff at the Royal Gorge and died. Pueblo police are calling the case a murder-suicide.
