A 19-year old Pueblo man is headed to prison for the shooting death of another teen. On Thursday, Lorenzo Oscar Gonzalez has been convicted of first degree murder and five counts of attempted murder.

The murder charge comes with a mandatory life sentence. The shooting happened on E. 5fth St., in September 2009.

Gonzalez was accused of firing shots inside a garage, where six teenage boys were having a party.

18-year old Carlos Romero was shot and killed. Police say it appears Romero was simply in the wrong place at the wrong time.
