Pueblo South won the 4A girls team golf title Tuesday at Elmwood golf course in Pueblo. The Colts are the first Pueblo team to ever win a state golf title. Broomfield finished two shots behind South. Regis was three shots back in third. Palmer Ridge and Cheyenne Mountain finished fifth and sixth.

The Colts were led by junior Bryce Schroeder who told News First 5's Jordan Mason, "It's totally awesome. We're going down in history. It feels great!"

Valor Christian's Lindsay McGetrick easily won individual medalist honors. She finished the tournament at 5 under, nine shots better than Schroeder. Coronado's Samantha Stancato came in third at nine over par.
