PUEBLO, Colo. (AP) - A Pueblo restaurateur charged with 72 felonies has been sentenced to three years of probation in a mortgage fraud case.
The Pueblo Chieftain says 50-year-old Tony Ianne pleaded guilty to one count of conspiracy to commit a computer crime Thursday in exchange for the dismissal of the other mortgage fraud counts and two separate cases involving witness intimidation.
Prosecutors said Ianne was investing in properties in distressed neighborhoods and manipulated a lax mortgage industry to line his own pockets.
