November is Recycling Month and in honor of that, Pueblo Recycles is unveiling some new art courtesy of a local student.
Mikalya Turner from Pueblo West High School won the grand prize with her artwork, "Recycle, because it's worth it..." Her art will be featured all month long on a billboard near the Rawlings Library.
The contest was a partnership between Pueblo Recycles and the Environmental Coordinator Program at the Pueblo City-County Health Department.
America Recycles Day is Thursday, November 15; for more info log on to www.AmericaRecyclesDay.org.
