Pueblo police are searching for 23-year-old Roy Gonzales after he allegedly threw a woman from a moving car on Sunday morning, just hours after he was allegedly involved in a stabbing incident.
Investigators say it was just before 4:00 AM on Sunday morning when police were dispatched to Parkview Hospital to speak with a woman who stated her boyfriend had asked her to get into his vehicle to talk when he sped away and began assaulting her. Police say at one point, Gonzales threw the woman from the vehicle, then forced her to get back in. She was able to escape near the area of 4th and Abriendo and walked to the hospital for help.
While police were at the hospital, a 23-year-old male also came to the emergency room and identified himself as Gonzales' victim from a stabbing incident earlier in the night in the 700 block of W. 18th St.
Gonzales has two felony warrants and two active restraining orders. Police want him for new charges of kidnapping, assault, menacing, restraining order violation, and domestic violence.
