Pueblo Police investigate why a truck was in Arkansas River

Pueblo Police are still investigating they mystery of a truck found in the Arkansas River overnight. The truck was discovered in the river around midnight and it was not until 10:00am that it was retrieved by a tow truck.
Police had taped off the area because the truck was abandoned and the owner of the vehicle has not yet been contacted. Sgt VanRyn of the Pueblo Police tells News First 5 that they know who the owner of the vehicle is; they just have not been able to reach them at this point. "The water was just to fast and it was just to dark to get the dive team in..." said VanRyn.
Investigators do not think anyone was hurt or swept down river. It is not yet known if the car was stolen
An investigation continues.
