If you get a phone call from a person that tell you have outstanding warrants, you may want to think twice before offering any payment to the caller.
Pueblo Police Department says a man with a Middle Eastern accent is calling homes in the Pueblo area.
According to police, several victims have come forth and said that the caller told them that they had outstanding warrants and if they didn't pay, officers would arrest them.
The victim also told police that the caller was threatening and forceful about getting the payment around 2,500 dollars.
The area code that the suspect has been calling from is listed as 818 and in one case 760.
Police warned you should never give payments over the phone to anyone.
