Pueblo Police identify 16-year-old girl killed in overnight crash

PUEBLO - Pueblo Police have identified the 16-year-old killed in an overnight crash as Bernadette Trujillo of Pueblo.  Trujillo was found dead inside of a maroon Cadillac that had crashed into a power pole at Pueblo Boulevard and Northern Avenue.  Witnesses reported that they heard screams and saw three people running from the scene. Police say those people were a young Hispanic male who was tall and thin, a heavy set male and a female.

Speed and alcohol may be factors, but an investigation is ongoing.

Anyone with information about this crash, or the identity of the occupants who fled the vehicle are asked to call Pueblo Police.
