A Pueblo Police officer is accused of hitting a boy and he could lose his job if convicted. The incident allegedly happened back in late February. Ofc. Michael Sincerbox allegedly "struck" a juvenile suspect at hospital, while on duty.
Sincerbox now faces a misdemeanor charge of official oppression. Interim Chief Luis Velez says if convicted, that would cost him his certification. "And that in brief means they cannot operate as a police officer in the State of Colorado," said Luis Velez, Interim Police Chief of the Pueblo Police Department.
Sincerbox has been issued a summons to appear in court in May. Meanwhile he remains on duty with the police department.
