Pueblo offers health fair

Pueblo residents will get a chance to assess their health at the 5th Annual Pueblo Health Expo Saturday, January 29, at the Pueblo Convention Center.  The Expo runs from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and admission is free.

New this year is cholesterol screening for $5 from 8:00 - 10:00 a.m. for a maximum of 150 participants.  This test requires a 12 hour fast.

In addition, participants may take advantage of free health screenings, including blood pressure, pulse oximetry, lung function, vision, blood sugar (requires 1 hour fast), fitness assessments (wear loose clothing), grip test, flexibility, balance, body mass index, mental health wellness and advice from medical professionals.

The Expo also includes fitness and health demonstrations, with specific sessions for adults and kids.
