Pueblo native places in Miss Rodeo America contest

Puebloan Kasie Pigg placed fifth in the annual Miss Rodeo America competition in Las Vegas yesterday.
The crowning culminated a week's worth of competition featuring cowgirls from 28 states.
Pigg is currently Miss Rodeo Colorado and is a graduate of Pueblo County High School and Texas Tech.
Contestants were judges on personality, appearance, horsemanship and presentation. The winner was McKenzie Haley of South Dakota. She will act as official spokesperson for the Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association for the next year.
