Pueblo man sentenced in child porn case

Eight more defendants have been sentenced for their involvement in an international criminal network organized to sexually exploit children in connection with their participation in the Dreamboard Child Exploitation bulletin board.

On August 2 Scott Lewandowski, 39, of Pueblo, was sentenced for conspiracy to distribute child pornography.  He'll spend 17 and a half years in federal prison and be under supervision for the rest of his life. The sentences were handed down by U.S. District Judge S. Maurice Hicks in federal court in Shreveport, La.

Forty-two out of 72 individuals have been convicted for their participation in the Dreamboard network. The network was dedicated to the sexual abuse of children and the creation and dissemination of graphic images and videos of child sexual abuse throughout the world.  The pictures were called "horrific" at the time and showed children in obvious pain and distress.

Lewandowski was arrested in Pueblo a year ago.  He worked in the security department at a Pueblo department store.
