Two jailed in Pueblo drive by shooting

PUEBLO - Pueblo police officers arrested two people on attempted murder charges following an early morning shooting outside of a bar on the south side of town. The incident happened sometime around 1:47 a.m. in the parking lot of the Sunset Plaza shopping center. Two men were reportedly arguing inside Reds Alibi Lounge when they were asked to leave.

When the police arrived they found one of the men in a vehicle with bullet holes in it. He told the officers 34-year old Timothy Rino shot at him from a white vehicle just moments earlier.

The police searched the area and found the vehicle. They arrested Rino on charges of Attempted 1st Degree Murder and Possession of a Weapon by a Previous Offender. They also arrested 34-year old Sherrie Ortiz on a charge of Complicity to Attempted 1st Degree Murder.

They are both being held without bond at the Pueblo County Jail. The victim was not injured in the shooting.
