Pueblo man dies from accidental shotgun blast

A Pueblo man died from a shotgun blast to the chest last night.
Charles Crook, 51, was apparently examining a shotgun when it fired and hit him in the chest. This was witnesses by Crook's girlfriend. She said he was "playing" with the gun.
The shooting happened at 2711 Bockman in Pueblo. The Pueblo Police Department is examining evidence and is not yet willing to say it was accidental, until officers can do a complete inventory of the evidence gathered at the home.
