Pueblo man accused of stabbing wife

A Pueblo man is facing assault charges after police say he stabbed his common law wife this morning. The stabbing happened on the 2000 block of Acero Ave. on Pueblo's Southside.

Joe Nieves, 34 is accused of stabbing his common law wife. The victim was treated at the hospital with non-life threatening injuries according to Pueblo police.
