A Pueblo man has taken a plea deal in the deaths of three teens from Alamosa. Today Gilbert Sanchez pleaded guilty to three counts of vehicular homicide and two counts of child abuse. The remaining 11 counts against him were dropped according to the Pueblo Chieftain.

Anisa Montoya, 18, Serena Sena, 14, and Selena Mascarenas, 14, were killed in that crash. The wreck happened in April 2012, at the intersection of Northern Ave. and Pueblo Blvd. Police say Sanchez was driving drunk when he ran a red light and plowed into the car with the three girls inside.

Sanchez is facing up to 68 years in prison, according to the paper.
