Pueblo District Attorney Bill Thiebaut says he is not filing charges against Phillip Greaves II for writing or distributing his book: "The Pedophile's Guide to Love and Pleasure: a Child-lover's Code of Conduct." However, Thiebaut cautions the investigation into the Pueblo author continues.
Greaves was arrested Monday morning by law enforcement from Florida, after he sold and mailed a copy of his book to an undercover deputy. Greaves faces a charge of distribution of obscene material.
"Their law frankly is quiet broad and not the same as our law," said Thiebaut.
Thiebaut says Pueblo law enforcement is still investigating Greaves. "We're looking into the collateral matters related to this book," said Thiebaut.
Greaves waived his right to fight extradition to Florida.
