The Pueblo County Sheriff's Office is investigating what appears to be a possible drive by shooting that took place at approximately 11:00pm Friday night. Deputies were called to the 1600 block of San Pedro St. located in the Salt Creek community of East Pueblo County following calls of multiple shots being fired.

When deputies arrived they found approximately seven holes in the front of a home and multiple spent shell casings in the street. Deputies interviewed the resident who stated they heard what sounded like someone knocking hard on her front door, unaware that the home had been shot.

Four people were in the home at the time of the shooting. No one was injured. No one recalls seeing any vehicles or people in the area during this time of the shots being fired.

Sheriff Kirk Taylor is asking the community for their assistance with information in this case. If you are able to provide any information, you are encouraged to contact the Pueblo County Sheriff's Office (719)583-6250 or CRIME STOPPERS (719)542-STOP.
