PUEBLO -- The 16-year-old male, who escaped from the Pueblo Youth Center (PYC) earlier today during a court transport, was found by Pueblo Police and is back in custody, according to the Pueblo County Sheriff's Office.
The Pueblo County Sheriff's Office transportation deputies were dropping the teen off at the PYC this afternoon, after a court appearance, when he was able to escape. He was wearing a medical boot, when he took it off and then ran away.
His record consists of property and truancy crimes, nothing involving violence.
The suspect was found at an apartment located at the 1900 block of Vinewood on the south side of Pueblo at 7:00 p.m. The Pueblo Police were able to capture him based on investigation leads, according to the Pueblo County Sheriff's Office.
