Pueblo County relay team is Athlete of the Week

A relay team from Pueblo County High School is this week's Loaf ‘N Jug Aquafina Athlete of the Week.
The team of Logan Stout, Jordan Chavez, Jared Muniz, and Eric Texeira just won the 4-by-400 relay at the state track and field championships Saturday in the 4A classification. They are now just four of eight male athletes to ever win a state championship for Pueblo County track.
"it feels pretty awesome," said Stout. "We've gotten a lot of congratulations from everybody."
"It's just a surreal feeling," said Texeira. "It really is."
"It feels great," said Muniz. "Everyone's congratulating us."
"It's just the dream you've set forth from the very beginning of practice," said Chavez. "There's nothing like it, really."
Pueblo County placed fifth overall as a team and only had six athletes at the state meet.
