PUEBLO COUNTY - Fire crews have now managed to gain 80 percent control of the fire burning near HWY 50 and 32nd Lane.
Fire officials say 15 acres have burned and six structures threatened, but none lost. No evacuations have been ordered and no one has been injured.
The Pueblo County Sheriff's office says the fire started from a trash pile burn and the person responsible could face charges.
Firefighters plan to remain on the scene overnight and monitor a few hot spots.
