The Pueblo County Commissioners will make a decision tonight on whether or not to allow an energy park south east of Pueblo which would clear the way for a nuclear power plant to be built there.

Pueblo Attorney Don Banner is proposing the 24,000 acre park, which would include solar and wind generation, but would hinge on nuclear. The commissioners have heard hour upon hour of testimony and have gone over thousands of pages related to the pros and cons of nuclear power.

The meeting starts at 5 p.m. at the Sangre de Cristo Arts Center at 2nd and Santa Fe in Pueblo.
