Pueblo County band shares "Athlete of the Week" award

We have an election day tie for this week's "Loaf ‘N Jug High School Athlete of the Week." The votes are in and the 80 plus members of the Pueblo County High Marching Band are the "Athletes of the Week."
Last week in Grand Junction the Hornets band won the Colorado Bandmasters state championship for the second straight year. They also recently won the state parade band competition and numerous other awards and honors the past several years. It's certainly not a conventional sport but no doubt these young men and women are athletes.
