Pueblo businesses offer fluorescent bulb recycling

The Pueblo Health Department reminds residents that fluorescent light bulbs need to be recycled, because they contain a small amount of mercury.

Pueblo city and county residents can drop off spent fluorescent light bulbs at the following locations during regular business hours, but call first, fees may apply:

  • Habitat for Humanity ReStore at 2313 S. Prairie Avenue
  • Southern Colorado Services & Recycling, 1731 Erie Avenue (linear tubes only)
  • Black Hills Energy, 105 S. Victoria Avenue (Compact bulbs only)
  • Pueblo Lighting, 5176 Ridge Drive
  • Pueblo Hydroponics & Organics, 113 W. 4th Street
  • Pueblo West Hydroponics & Organics, 609 E. Enterprise Drive
  • Home Depot, 4450 N. Freeway Road (Compact bulbs only)
  • Lowe's Home Improvement, 1225 Hwy 50 W. and 2900 W. Pueblo Blvd. (Compact bulbs only)
